TUV has tested the biocomposites material used to make the products as per US FDA and Europe standards at temperatures up-to 100 Deg C. Usually, temperature of food & beverage at the time of serving is about 85 Deg C. Are they safe for microwave? The biocomposites materials used to make the products are tested safe by TUV for microwave appliance as per European standard. We recommend the use of microwave for reheat only &, not to use microwave continuously for more than 1 min. Do they contain plastic? They are made with our proprietary biocomposite materials.
