The product is fine. But when I open the box a roach crawled up the edge of the box. I had to grab the box and run out side. Then as I was dumping the merchandise on the patio another roach was in the box. I don’t know how this happened but I know my house doesn’t have a roach problem. They were several products in the box but the fact remains I don’t want roaches in my house.I bought these for my son's girlfriend and she uses them all of the time!I bought these for some friends for Christmas. They were drinking Moscow mules often at the time and seemed to enjoy them. We decided to drink some one night. Due to the fine craftsmanship, comfort and overall superior brass drinking chalice, we succeeded and surpassed all limits we had imposed upon ourselves. To this day I cannot recall what is in a Moscow mule. But after emptying this cup 17 times over 6 hours of day drinking we realized we were just too much fun and we needed to share our presence at the local bar. The assortment of events that befell that bar on this particular evening will be etched into the minds of every patron in attendance. They didn’t mind us playing “the titanic song” and some even hoisted their lovers, arms spread, onto barstools. “I’m flying, Jack”. “I’ll never let go” and even “Draw me like one of your French girls” could be heard throughout. We were now implementing shots between and during our steady pace of mules. I was impressed with how my friends mom was handling this marathon. An elegant lady composed in her drunkenness. It was getting late when a gentleman began to speak to her. I knew that the words flowing from the mouth of this man could very well get him in trouble. He had the gall to say something like “how are you this evening”. My friend was not having it. I’m not sure exactly what happened because I was already being “asked to leave” for an unrelated incident (which is far to embarrassing to mention here), but I saw my friend throw a chair across the bar. It was at this point that we were “asked to leave” with a little more emphasis. To which we replied. “Who the ____ are you?” The man, we shall call him “the Manager” said “I’m the manager”.My current state of obliteration and my nervousness of a possible police presence allowed me to accept this statement and prepare to leave. My friend has always been more intelligent than I, and far more witty. It was with perfect poise and a tone which left no doubt that he was speaking the deepest level of truth when my friend said “You’re not the manager... I’m the f———g manager!”There are turning points in every mans life. Hearing these words made me realize that I was in fact the ————g manager as well. We are all managers! I have since become far more successful in life. Have had a child and have seen my company reach heights I never believed imaginable. I owe this to these brass mugs. It was worth being banned from one bar forever. The copper mugs were a hit as it was festive, and with all the apple slices and cinnamon sticks made our guest feel decadent drinking this holiday drink. They come with a couple of drink suggestions, metal straws, and a small copper shot glass. The copper shot glass for the Moscow Mule mugs came with, (we realized later,) the exact size for measuring out the vodka. We had been converting ounces to cups and using our measuring cup set, which wasn't hard, just annoying. Then we realized this little copper cup was to make life super easy. The metal straws are fine, but we didn't use them. Here's the reason: 1. I don't have the proper cleaning tools at the house for cleaning, (they don't come with a brush for the straws,) and 2. ever since I read a news story about a lady impaling herself with a metal straw final destination style; I am over metal straws! Like all copper products, you should hand wash and NEVER put in the dishwasher. I highly suggest bar keepers friend.Only 2 mugs arrived. I returned the package and re-ordered again, hoping I would get 4 this time. Unfortunately, the same happened again and I received only 2 mugs.... Very disappointed :(Was disappointed that this does not match the description. The description says 4 mugs but the box only has 2. There is no option available to obtain the missing 2 so product has to be returned.For the price you pay for these, they are not worth it! Mine came with scuff marks all over them. The handles are detaching from the cup and in between the handle and cup it looks like black mold. The rim of the cup has random strings hanging down? And some kind of black residue is also lining around the rim of it. I will be returning these.When we first ordered these mugs, we were so excited to use them! We soaked them in water to clean them & they came out with a white film on them. It took days to scrub the white film off with vinegar and an sos pad (still areas with white if you look closely). They copper turned from a shiney & beautiful to like rusty. So we had to soak them in vinegar again. I don't really want to use them again because they're so frustrating to clean & they haven't looked the same since.Rezension Amazon A29 Mule KupferbecherMitte Juni 2022 angekommen.Sehr gut verpackt, alles einzeln in Luftpolsterverpackung.Konnte noch keine Schäden feststellen.Sehen sehr schön aus, wenn sie kupferfarben glänzen.Zuerst mit reinem Wasser befüllt und auf das Trinkerlebnis gefreut.Hm, hat irgendjemand etwas von dem Geruch geschrieben ?Ja, Kupfer riecht !Erinnere Dich an Kupfermünzen, zumindest die „echten“ früher, nachdem diese einiges erlebt hatten und der Glanz bereits lange verschwunden war.Doch die gute Nachricht, nach kurzer Zeit verliert sich der Geruch. Also macht es Sinn, die Becher frühzeitig vor der Benutzung auszupacken, zu reinigen und ihnen dann noch ein paar Stunden zum „Auslüften“ zu geben.Gekauft, damit im Sommer die Getränke länger kühl bleiben.Auch das Aussehen ist sehr schön.Die Becher sind sehr leicht.Innen und außen kupferfarben, glänzend.Ich habe keinen Anlass zur Annahme, dass es sich nicht um reines Kupfer handelt, kann es aber nicht weiter verifizieren.Es ist keine gute Idee, die Becher mit Getränkeresten (Wein, Bier, etc.) stehen zu lassen.Ein unmittelbares Ausschwenken ist sinnvoll.Spülen am nächsten Tag birgt das Risiko, dass das Kupfer zwischenzeitlich dunkel anläuft.Dann daraus zu trinken, macht weniger Freude.Diese Verfärbung mit Zitronen- bzw, Essigsäure zu entfernen, funktioniert nur eingeschränkt.Aber immerhin, so einigermaßen glänzt es wieder.Nach mehrmaligem Reinigen mit Zitronensäure und Essigessenz und bei hartnäckiger Verfärbung auch mal über Nacht stehen lassen, ist der Glanz innen verschwunden.Offensichtlich wurde die Kupferschicht von der „zu starken“ Säure angeätzt.Somit scheint sicher zu sein, dass es sich um reines Kupfer handelt.Zur Reinigung also auch nicht zu starke Mittel verwenden.Und völlig tabu sind feste Reiniger oder Pulver (z.B. Zitronensäurepulver).Auch sollte zum Auswischen nur ein sehr weiches Tuch verwendet werden.Das drin herum Reiben mit Zewa oder einem feinen Spülschwamm, kann den Glanz schon deutlich reduzieren. Also bitte sehr vorsichtig sein,.Unterm Strich bleibt, ich freute mich sehr auf die Becher, trank anfangs auch sehr gerne daraus.Nach den Reinigungsproblemen bin ich nun eher davon abgekommen, sie als Alltagsbecher zu verwenden.Zum Glück hatte ich obige Erfahrungen zuerst mit einem Becher gemacht und so verbleiben noch drei wunderschön glänzende Becher, die ich für „besondere“ Gelegenheiten aufbewahre.Sollte jemand Tipps für eine angemessene und erfolgreiche Reinigung haben, dann bitte hier mitteilen.Vielen Dank und allen Käufern ein genußvolles Trinkerlebnis !LG St.
