I was super excited to receive this mug! When it finally came, it was broken into about a thousand pieces in the box. So sad! I still took it out to inspect it because I had seem some sketchy reviews and I wanted to see if it was worth it to reorder. The other reviews were accurate, for the most part. The round orange sections on the body appeared to be stickers, and the head portion was hand painted, but not very well. It was super light, but it was a great sized mug. I'm super bummed it was all broken up, and I probably won't be reordering due to the below-average appearance.I didn't like that it seemed some how smaller ...but that's my issue. The product itself was great and my husband loves it. He brought it work as a pen holder. So everyone can see it.{Eye roll}Had some paint imperfections and the opening isn't exactly conducive for actual usage as a mug. But I got it as a gift for my brother and he's using it as a very catchy pen holder for his work desk. Great for the price. Just not practical.A lot of other reviews talk about poor paint, but mine looked great. Excited to give this to my husband as a part of his graduation present.I love the mug. The only thing I don't love it is the messy painting they did on the gear pieces or "eyes" of the robot on its head. It looked like a rush piece and it just looked messy. I'm kinda embarrassed to show this mug to friends and family. It looks cheap. Too bad because if the painting was a lot neater and stayed within its lines. This mug would've been an INCREDIBLE buy!Love this mug! Don't microwave it though! It will start hissing and that's probably bad haha it was only in it to warm up my coffee for a few seconds but probably best to keep it out of therePaint job around the eye area is okay, and the opening is really small. I'm guessing it's around 1.5" opening. The handle is hollow so whatever you're going to drink out of it will get in the handle also, found that out while trying to get rid of the paint smell of it. Other than those it's cute and decent for the amount I spent.BB8 is so fun! This mug really captures him. I use it as a pencil holder. I don't want to take a chance on breaking it in the sink.A very lovely mug. The hand crated look to it distinguishes it from the mud you can buy in a shop ect. It is a well made and very beautiful mug. I got it as a present for a friend and she loves it, uses it every day. One complain I do have is the delivery took a very long time. I placed my order near the start of November last year and didn't receive it until late JanuaryCan't really drink out of it because the hole at the top is small compared to the mug and it's just too awkward.
