Update: With time, they dribble. I contacted Thermo-serve and asked if I could buy two new caps. Two new caps and mugs arrived a week later. Wow!I've also had coffee freeze in the cups. No damage.Unwilling to give up on the two dribblers, and noting there is a recess at the top of the mug, I stretched a narrow (1/16" wide) rubber band in the groove: No more dribbles hot or cold. My theory is that the elastic pushes the cap up so it seals against the indent.End of update. This 20 oz Thermo-Serve (TS) sippy cup's fat-bottom design, large handle for gloved hands, snap-on lid and thumb-lever to close the sip-hole is perfect for aircrew and drivers. That's because it allows for one-handed operation in turbulence. It is short enough to sit on most glare shields, and dashboards or ride safely on the floor or passenger seat. It's great around computers where open containers are a hazard, and the large handle makes it easy to carry or clip to a carabiner. It microwaves without damage and keeps drinks hot for about two hours.Over the past 20 years, I've had six TS cups and gave more as gifts. two have begun to dribble from the cap, which had cracked and deteriorated. I soak the cups in weak bleach to get rid of coffee stains, which might be why the plastic broke down. This is after thousands of trips thru the microwave and more than a few drops.I also suspect the foam insulation has settled or melted in the microwave, because old cups don't keep stuff as hot as new cups, but I'm talking 10-15 years of daily use. I think I got my money's worth.Cons: Obviously, it won't fit in a cup holder. Or between the legs. But the broad base keeps it stable on a seat.I have an old, almost identical Aladdin Stainless Steel fat-bottom 20 oz cup. But, it requires two hands to install the screw-on lid or open the safety valve for a sip. It's also possible to assemble the lid facing the wrong way, which creates a comedy routine of its own. That doesn't sound like much, but it is when you're busy. (I microwave the SS cup with no problems by the way, and there's no foam to deteriorate. But I digress.)When my TS began to dribble I tried new SS cups from Contigo, Yeti, and Hydro Flask. I found none that suit my needs as well as the Thermo-serve. (I have a 20 oz Hydro-flask with a straw lid. I need to test it with a flip lid to see how it does with hot beverages.) The replacements have all been tall and skinny to fit in cup holders, which is fine, but the Yeti has a lid magnet that melted the lid when microwaved, and the Contigo has a wonderful squeeze valve that requires some strength and focus to operate. All are too tall to fit in a microwave. So I ordered two more of the TS cups. Don't mess with success!
